I'm a software developer/technical consultant. Over the last three years I've specialising in J2EE development, primarily using BEA WebLogic and Oracle 8i/9i databases on Sun Solaris Sparc systems.
I've been the development part of a small company, developing mobile telecom applications but despite having delivered and gone live with a number of installations, there's not the cash-flow to keep things going, so that role is ending shortly.
For the last couple of years, I've been teleworking from home (Lydney in Gloucestershire), so apart from another teleworking opportunity, preferred locations include Bristol, Cheltenham, Gloucester & Newport.
I'm married with two children, have run a sucessful local campaign to gather registrations to have BT upgrade the local exchange to add ADSL capability (Live date: 7th Jan 2004) and maintain the website for a local pre-school nursery group.
